A private desktop assistant for Linux that works with the AI model you choose. Your chats, memory and files stay on your computer.
Your model, your choice
Use OpenAI, OpenRouter, a local model through Ollama or LM Studio, or any OpenAI-compatible service. You bring your own account and key.
Local first
Conversations, memory, projects and settings are stored on your device. Keys and sign-ins are encrypted with your system keyring.
Connected apps
Optionally connect Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, GitHub and other services so Astrid can work with them when you ask.
Google account access
If you connect a Google service, Astrid asks Google for permission to read and, where the feature needs it, create or change data in that service on your behalf: for example, searching and drafting email in Gmail, reading and creating Calendar events, or finding and reading Drive files. Astrid only uses this access to do what you ask in the app. The data goes directly between your computer, Google and the AI model provider you chose; it never passes through servers run by Ryker Flynn Tech Integrations.
